About Emery

I earned a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Vocal Music and Performance after years of studying vocal technique, live performance, and musical interpretation during my formal training. Over the past 9 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through personalized coaching and supportive instruction. Teaching singing allows me to combine creativity, emotional communication, and mentorship in a deeply meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners gain confidence through their own voice and artistic expression.

My teaching approach focuses on healthy vocal development, patience, and adaptability. Some students improve best through structured technical exercises and repetition, while others respond more naturally to emotional interpretation and creative exploration. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s personality, comfort level, and musical goals. Along with technical improvement, I help students strengthen breathing control, vocal clarity, expressive phrasing, and performance readiness. Creating a welcoming and motivating learning atmosphere remains one of my most important priorities.

Outside teaching, I continue practicing vocals, exploring different music genres, and studying performance methods that help keep my lessons engaging and inspiring. Music remains a strong source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more confident and expressive performers over time.

About the lesson

My singing lessons are designed to help students strengthen their natural voice while building confidence, creativity, and healthy vocal habits through supportive instruction. I teach breath support, pitch control, resonance, vocal placement, articulation, phrasing, and tone shaping using practical exercises that feel approachable and motivating. Lessons also include harmony practice, vocal warm-ups, emotional interpretation, performance preparation, and vocal flexibility activities that help students improve steadily over time. I create a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe expressing themselves without pressure or fear of mistakes. Every lesson supports technical development and artistic confidence together.

Beginners focus on breathing exercises, vocal projection, simple melodies, and foundational singing techniques that build healthy vocal habits and confidence gradually. Intermediate learners improve vocal control, expressive delivery, harmony awareness, and smoother vocal transitions through organized studies and guided practice sessions. Advanced students work on stage confidence, stylistic versatility, advanced repertoire, and emotional storytelling through detailed coaching and performance preparation. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, musical interests, and long-term goals so progress remains balanced and encouraging throughout the learning process.

Singing should feel uplifting, expressive, and personally meaningful. I encourage students to trust their voice while building confidence through regular practice and supportive feedback. Many learners become more comfortable performing and expressing emotion through music as their abilities continue growing naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both vocal technique and artistic individuality while enjoying the process of learning music.
