About Ivy

I completed a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Vocal Arts after developing a deep passion for singing, live performance, and musical storytelling during my early musical experiences. Over the last 12 years, I have worked with students from different musical backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through supportive instruction and carefully planned lessons. Teaching singing allows me to combine creativity, communication, and emotional connection in a rewarding and meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners become more comfortable and confident using their voice openly.

My teaching approach focuses on encouragement, adaptability, and healthy vocal development. Some students need gentle confidence-building support, while others benefit from more structured vocal exercises and performance-focused training. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, comfort level, and musical goals. Along with technical improvement, I help students strengthen breathing control, vocal clarity, emotional expression, and stage confidence. Creating a positive and supportive learning environment is always one of my priorities.

Outside teaching, I continue exploring different vocal styles, practicing performance techniques, and studying music that keeps my creativity and musical understanding growing. Music remains an important part of my life because it encourages emotional expression and meaningful human connection. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured performers over time. Helping learners enjoy singing while developing lasting vocal skills continues to inspire me every day.

About the lesson

My singing lessons focus on helping students build confidence and healthy vocal technique in a calm and supportive environment. I teach breath control, resonance, vocal placement, tone shaping, phrasing, and pitch accuracy through exercises that feel practical and encouraging for learners at every level. Lessons also include vocal warm-ups, song interpretation, emotional expression activities, and performance preparation that help students sing more naturally and comfortably. I create lessons that feel motivating and welcoming so students can improve steadily without fear of judgment. Every session balances technical development with creativity and personal expression.

Beginners receive patient guidance with breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, pitch matching, and simple song practice that create strong vocal foundations. Intermediate learners improve harmony awareness, vocal flexibility, phrasing control, and stronger emotional delivery through structured activities and musical studies. Advanced students focus on stage confidence, vocal endurance, expressive interpretation, and refined performance technique through advanced repertoire work. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, goals, and musical interests so progress feels balanced and manageable throughout the learning process.

Singing should feel expressive, meaningful, and emotionally freeing. I encourage students to trust their voice while building confidence through regular practice and supportive guidance. Many learners become more relaxed and emotionally expressive as their vocal abilities continue improving over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical ability and personal connection to music. Every lesson supports creativity, confidence, and long-term vocal development.
