About Sage
I completed a PhD in Contemporary Voice and Performance Arts after years of studying vocal interpretation, live performance, and artistic communication during my musical education. During the past 11 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve through personalized instruction and supportive guidance. Teaching singing allows me to combine creativity, communication, and emotional connection in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident expressing themselves through music and performance.
My teaching style focuses on healthy vocal development, patience, and adaptability. Some students improve best through organized vocal exercises and structured guidance, while others respond more naturally to creative exploration and emotional interpretation. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, personality, and musical goals. Along with technical improvement, I help students strengthen breathing control, vocal clarity, expressive phrasing, and performance confidence. Creating a welcoming and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring different vocal styles, practicing music, and studying modern performance techniques that help keep my creativity and musical understanding growing. Music remains an important source of emotional expression and artistic freedom in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more self-assured and expressive performers over time. Helping learners enjoy singing while developing lasting vocal skills continues to inspire me greatly.

My singing lessons are designed to help students build healthy vocal habits while developing confidence, expression, and emotional connection through music. I teach breath support, vocal resonance, phrasing, tone balance, articulation, and pitch control using clear and supportive methods that feel approachable for learners at every stage. Lessons also include vocal warm-ups, harmony exercises, interpretation practice, confidence-building activities, and performance preparation that help students improve naturally over time. I create a calm and welcoming environment where learners feel comfortable expressing themselves freely without fear of mistakes or judgment. Every lesson balances technical improvement with creativity and emotional expression.
Beginners receive patient guidance with breathing exercises, pitch matching, simple melodies, and foundational vocal exercises that create strong singing habits. Intermediate learners improve phrasing control, vocal flexibility, emotional delivery, and harmony awareness through structured musical studies and guided practice activities. Advanced students focus on vocal endurance, expressive interpretation, stage confidence, and advanced repertoire refinement through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s musical interests, confidence level, and learning pace so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Singing should feel expressive, enjoyable, and emotionally freeing. I encourage students to trust their natural voice while building confidence through regular practice and supportive feedback. Many learners become more expressive and comfortable performing as their vocal abilities continue improving over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical skill and emotional connection to music while enjoying the learning journey. Every lesson supports creativity, confidence, and long-term vocal growth.
