About Sarah
I am a passionate Singing tutor with 9 years of experience, having taught more than 250 High School and College students. I focus on helping students develop strong vocal techniques, musical expression, and stage presence while encouraging creativity and confidence. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, personalised guidance, and a supportive learning environment. Lessons include vocal exercises, breath control, pitch and tone development, music theory, and performance techniques. Many of my students have performed in competitions, school, and college events, earning recognition and awards. My goal is to help students refine their skills, gain confidence, and develop a lifelong love for music and performance

My teaching approach for Singing is flexible, supportive, and student-centred. I believe each learner has a unique voice and learning style. I start by understanding the student’s goals, musical interests, and preferred learning approach. I adapt lessons using listening exercises, demonstrations, and practical practice. Lessons focus on breathing, posture, pitch accuracy, tone control, and expressive singing. Progress is gradual to ensure vocal health. Creativity is encouraged through song interpretation, exploring different genres, and personal expression. Singing songs students enjoy builds confidence and motivation. Diplomacy guides my feedback. I provide kind and encouraging corrections, helping students feel comfortable and confident. Along with Singing, I teach music theory basics, ear training, rhythm practice, vocal care, diction, and stage performance skills. These subjects support well-rounded musical growth.
