About Hila

I am an experienced violin teacher with 8+ years of tutoring experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. My passion for music and teaching has allowed me to work with students of different skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners.

My teaching philosophy is based on understanding each student's needs and providing lessons that are encouraging and goal-oriented. I believe learning music should be enjoyable, and I always create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves.

About the lesson

I focus on posture, bowing technique, fingering, tone, intonation, phrasing, and expressive playing while fostering creativity and personal interpretation. I include real-life examples such as performing favorite songs, preparing for recitals, and understanding music’s emotional storytelling.

I also teach related subjects like music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to strengthen overall musicianship. My aim is to create a supportive, structured, and inspiring learning environment where students gain confidence, progress steadily, and develop a lifelong love for music.
