About Esme

I’m a passionate vocal instructor with over 3 years of teaching experience and a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance. I work with singers from school age to professional adults, helping them develop both skill and confidence. My teaching focuses strongly on musical theater and Broadway performance.

In my lessons, storytelling is just as important as technique. I guide students in character acting through song so they can fully embody the roles they perform. We also work on stage presence, belt technique, and vocal agility for handling dynamic theater pieces.

I support my students with strong musical training, including ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory. These skills help singers feel more comfortable and flexible in any musical situation. Healthy vocal technique is always a priority.

I believe singing lessons should feel engaging, supportive, and empowering. Every voice is unique and deserves individualized attention. Let’s build your skills, confidence, and stage presence together as you begin your journey toward performance.

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on developing confident singers with strong technical and musical skills. Lessons are designed to match the needs of each student and their musical goals. Students from school level to advanced music programs receive clear and supportive guidance.

We work on vocal technique including breath support, tone placement, vocal agility, and belt strength. Ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory are also included to deepen musical understanding.

Alongside traditional training, I emphasize the practical side of singing. Students learn microphone technique and how to control tone and dynamics while recording.

Studio recording etiquette is also covered so singers understand professional workflow and communication during sessions. We practice vocal layering and harmony stacking to create full and rich recordings.

Lessons also explore how effects like reverb and delay shape the final vocal sound. Understanding these tools helps singers perform with greater awareness.

The goal is to help serious vocal students sound polished and confident in the studio. Together we focus on creating recordings that feel expressive and professional.
