About Adam
I spent 20 years trapped in addiction and physical dependency to alcohol. I rebuilt everything from a rock-bottom hellhole by applying awareness and mastery of Choice. The most essential shift in changing your life happens when you realise that you are always choosing something, consciously or not. Real change begins when you start examining your choices and making them work for you, not against you. That's how I did it: choice by choice, habit by habit, brick by brick. And today, I help others do the same, offering grounded, honest guidance without relying on 12-Step programmes. Alongside my personal journey, I have two science degrees, have trained in counselling principles, and continue to study practical psychology and philosophy to deepen and sharpen my work. You can expect a personable approach, but also authenticity, integrity, and no BS. My aim is to help you build lasting self-sufficiency so that, in time, you won't need a sober coach at all. I'll walk beside you until you no longer need me to.

My Approach as a Tutor: I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions, especially when it comes to something as personal as your recovery. I'll listen first, understand where you are, what you’re struggling with, and what kind of life you want to build. From there, we work together to uncover the real drivers behind your behaviour — your choices, your unmet needs, and your beliefs. Then we pull it apart and put it back together with clarity. Teaching method and techniques: I ask you to be honest with yourself so we can build practical frameworks and genuine self-awareness. We will look at tools for building self-mastery: not just stopping behaviours, but creating a better life that makes those behaviours irrelevant. A typical lesson plan: We'll begin with a real-life check-in: Where are you really right now? We identify a specific theme or challenge to work through (e.g., cravings, self-sabotage, unmet needs, resilience). We'll break it down to understand it, challenge it, and reframe it so it works for you. You'll leave with a clear, manageable focus to work on before next time — something you choose to act on (or not). What sets me apart: I've lived with serious addiction. I've built real recovery. And now I live a life beyond both. I don't use the 12-Step model; in fact, I don't believe lasting sobriety comes from depending on anything outside yourself. That's what I've built, and that's what I'll help you to build too.
Who the lessons are for: Adults of any background who want a serious, practical, and honest approach to recovery and self-mastery.
Please take note: This is behavioural coaching designed to support lifestyle change and personal growth. It is not counselling, therapy, or medical treatment, but can be a powerful complement to those areas. You remain fully in charge of all of your own choices.

Plenty of people understand addiction intellectually. Others may have been through it themselves. Adam is unique in that he brings both to the table. The man's story is inspiring and his knowledge is immense on this topic. He's able to create a safe space for honest reflection without avoiding the accountability required to do the work.
Adam is a very patient understanding person, sound down to earth and has a story to tell which makes things 100% more relatable would 10/10 recommend Adam

The price isn't really about the hour or the bundle.
It's what you'll have by the end of it.
What does sobriety mean to you? Freedom? Clarity? Structure? Fulfillment? Better health and relationships? Your self-respect? Being able to build a new life you can manage on your own?
What is your current situation costing you every day, week, month, or year, all for staying stuck inside a trap? Not just in money, but in peace, energy, health, and quality of life? Against that, this coaching is only a fraction of the cost you're already paying.
Done properly, this coaching will make me progressively less necessary.
My goal is not to keep you as a client for life. My goal is to help you reach a point where you no longer need me.
This is private, confidential, and tailored to you. You are not lost in a room full of strangers talking about generic advice. The work is personal, focused, and built around your actual life.
By the way, most clients who start with 5 hours go on to book further support, which is why the 10-hour bundle is often the better-value option from the outset.
