About Ashton

After deciding to change my career and follow a different path, I began learning to code. Originally I studied web development using Ruby, JavaScript & CSS to develop unique and innovative apps. Following this I studied Software Development using Java and then finally Software Testing. These experiences have provided me with a deep rooted understanding of different languages, their uses and the many career opportunities they can afford you.

As someone who successfully changed career, and from something so far removed from tech, I am a prime example of how success in this industry without a Computer Science degree is possible for anyone. I am here to show you how.

About the lesson

I started life as an Actor but decided to change careers and follow a different passion. Now I am a consultant at Deloitte working on the development of some exciting and important public platforms.

My lessons are a great choice for someone starting their programming career or anyone looking for a career change like myself. No matter your age or experience, I can offer guidance and advice on the many routes into the tech industry that are on offer to you.

I have several years teaching experience, especially with younger people. I am a brilliant communicator and understand how to cater teaching approaches to suit your learning style.

Together we can discover which language/s will be best for you to learn. Using my own experiences of learning and the tools I have acquired along the way, I'll show you the principles and concepts of programming, in a fun and engaging environment.

My first lesson is free so you can be sure that this is the best choice for you.

I am open to any length of lesson to suit your needs. I teach after 6pm Mon-Fri & anytime at weekends.
