About Charnteá

Hobbyists and families moving abroad often arrive at my doorstep with a mistaken view that fluency happens through memorizing endless grammar lists. I find that real linguistic growth actually stems from consistent exposure and the confidence to speak despite making errors.

Drawing from 8 years of experience, I support adult learners and students in Year 11 and 12 who need a structured path toward DELE or DELF certifications. My practice centers on listening training, role play, and dialogue practice to ensure communication feels natural. I incorporate travel Spanish, everyday phrases for beginners, and a deep focus on accent and intonation.

Advanced writing skills and business Spanish are also part of my repertoire for those with specific goals. My degree from Monash provides the academic foundation for these interactions.

About the lesson

Your initial meeting involves an assessment of your current speaking comfort and specific goals for the language. Progress is not linear. We spend time on practical scenarios that reflect the real world needs of my students, including those preparing for high stakes exams. I adjust the pace based on how you process new vocabulary and sentence structures.

My approach integrates listening practice and role play to build your active vocabulary. We address accent and intonation early to prevent fossilized pronunciation mistakes. Whether you are learning for relocation or for personal enrichment, the focus remains on functional ability.

My Monash degree influences how I explain complex syntax in simple terms. I aim to keep the environment low pressure while maintaining high standards for your development.
