About Wushakphy

I am a Spanish Honors Graduate and have spent the past 3 years doing what I love most- teaching Spanish to students of all ages, backgrounds and learning levels.

At present I am onboarding as a Spanish teacher at Sancta Maria International School, Hyderabad. I also work part-time as a Spanish instructor at Gomathi Global School, Hyderabad, where I am the only Spanish teacher on staff, and with Global Learning, Dubai, as their Spanish teacher. These experiences have shaped me deeply- not just as a teacher, but as a person who understands what learners truly need.

I have worked with complete beginners, school students preparing for IGCSE and IB examinations across all levels, and motivated individuals working towards their DELE certification. Every single one of those students has taught me something.
I am patient by nature and passionate by choice. I take every student seriously: their doubts, their pace, their small wins and their difficult days. I know how vulnerable it feels to learn something new, especially a language, and I never take that lightly.
Creating a space where students feel safe, respected and genuinely supported is something I care about deeply.

I am still a student myself, and I think that is one of the most important things about me as a teacher. I have not forgotten what it feels like to struggle, to feel embarrassed to speak or to wonder if you are making any progress at all. That keeps me humble, keeps me kind and keeps me fully present for every student I work with.
Teaching Spanish is not just something I do. It is something I genuinely believe in.

Choosing a teacher is a big decision. I do not take that responsibility lightly.

About the lesson

Language, in my opinion, is not something you only study and master but it is something you step into, slowly and confidently, until one day it starts to feel like home.
I do not run a traditional classroom. I do not believe in drilling vocabulary lists, memorizing translations or pushing students through grammar rules before they even feel comfortable saying hello. In my experience, that approach does not build language learners, it builds anxiety and confusion. And I refuse to let that happen in my class.

Instead, every session is built around real conversation, everyday expressions and natural practice. We start small and we build steadily, in a space where mistakes are not just tolerated but genuinely welcomed, because every mistake is proof that the student is trying. And trying is everything.

My classes are student-centered in the truest sense of the word. I do not have a one-size-fits-all approach because I have never met two students who learn exactly the same way. Some need more time. Some need more encouragement. Some need someone to simply slow down and explain things differently. Whatever you need, I will find a way to meet you there.

I cover IGCSE, IB across all levels, DELE examination preparation and general conversational Spanish for all age groups. But regardless of your level or your goal, my commitment to you remains the same, to make sure you leave every class feeling more capable and more confident towards the language than when you arrived. If you give me a chance I will give you everything I have got.
