About Wren

My passion for Spanish began while studying in Barcelona during my linguistics degree nearly a decade ago. Immersed in the city’s rhythm, I discovered that language is not just communication—it’s emotion, color, and connection. That realization sparked my journey as a language educator, one that has now spanned 9 years across students from five continents. I teach because every new learner brings a different rhythm to Spanish, and I thrive on finding ways to make that rhythm flourish. My lessons are built around personalization, patience, and cultural storytelling. I use digital tools, live feedback, and multimedia materials like songs and short films to immerse students fully. Whether teaching beginners or guiding university students through literary analysis, I adapt my approach to fit learning speeds and emotional needs. Every class is a conversation built on empathy and structure, helping learners feel safe while stretching their abilities. Outside teaching, I write articles on bilingualism, host online workshops about cross-cultural communication, and continue improving my own fluency in Catalan and Italian. Teaching is not just my profession—it’s a living exchange of cultures. Watching students grow into confident speakers, capable of connecting with the world through Spanish, reaffirms why I love what I do: turning language into a bridge between people, creativity, and global understanding.

About the lesson

Every Spanish lesson I design opens with connection—between sound, story, and self-expression. My approach combines conversational immersion with grammar scaffolding, helping students find their rhythm in real communication. We move from basic greetings and sentence formation to complex dialogues that feel authentic and spontaneous. Lessons are designed to blend practical fluency with cultural awareness, creating a learning space where students feel both supported and creatively challenged as they build linguistic confidence.

For beginners, I focus on pronunciation, basic grammar, and listening comprehension through relatable real-life topics. Intermediate learners refine structure, expand vocabulary, and practice fluent conversation through storytelling and debates. Advanced and university-level students engage with advanced grammar, literature extracts, and essay writing to reach professional or academic fluency. All levels benefit from personalized assignments, progress evaluations, and optional exam preparation for DELE or SIELE certifications.

Students leave each lesson feeling transformed—not just more fluent, but more globally connected. They gain courage to converse in authentic contexts, an ear for accent nuances, and a genuine appreciation for Hispanic cultures. Beyond grammar mastery, learners often report improved memory, better articulation in other languages, and renewed confidence in their voice.
