About Melissa

My name is Melissa Ruiz. I am an English and Spanish teacher. I have been giving private lessons since 2011. I have a degree in Education. Recently I graduated with my Master's Degree in Didactics of the English Language in South America.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are based on language development, so I like to use techniques from the TPR method, communication techniques, audiovisual methods. I base my classes on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills using technologies, cognitive games and useful materials for the learning. I adapt my lessons according to students' interests and needs. I approach a subject with flexibility.

The cancellation policy for my lessons is before the lessons start. Individual students pay $30 per hour. If you bring a friend to study, each student pays $20 per hour.
