About Jaqueline Palomares
I have been a Spanish tutor for over two years, but I have a degree in Nutrition and a Master's in Food Technology, so I am also passionate about food science. I am from Mexico, and I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures to gain new perspectives on life. I like cooking, listening to music, I love nature and outdoor activities, and I also enjoy watching series of various genres.
I started tutoring Spanish because I like sharing my knowledge and stories to help you achieve your goals and learn to speak another language. I believe that learning a new language can open up more opportunities for us and, in turn, provide us with more experiences in life.

A class with me typically begins with a conversation to assess your Spanish level. As the conversation progresses, I identify key points to work on, whether it's grammar or focusing on vocabulary for a specific topic of your interest or needs, such as food science, Mexican culture, etc. Sometimes, I send videos to practice listening, and then we discuss the video topic during the class. I enjoy learning about other people's cultures and histories, so in my classes, there is a lot of cultural exchange, sharing traditions, anecdotes, and knowledge.
