The level of instruction will depend on the student, I am very flexible in either teaching high level or low level material. We will typically start with going over the main idea of the topic, then progress down to the subject area where the student finds difficult.
I work with singers and writers of all ages. I build upon a student's existing strengths and encourage all the time. I work through each skill sequentially to build success and confidence. I guarantee an enjoyable and successful learning experience.
My past teaching experience is for high school and university levels. I have a PHD degree in Electrochemistry and I am a Professional Engineer registered with APEG BC. I studied Chemistry for 26 years. Technique: based on BC curriculum. Characteristics: Patient and kind with ways to encourage logical thinking in others.
My teaching method is based on working with the students to develop their full potential based on the students needs and abilities. Classes are for high school, college or university students. Classes can be either individual or for groups of 2-5 students.
Teaching methods include engaging students in subjects at a personal level such as using real world, current applications for comparison; one on one or small class size, for high school students. Preferably in a comfortable space such as a public library or in student's homes.
My teaching methodology is very simple. First I demonstrate the proper technique. Second you copy me. And third I film your sessions and make videos for you to help narrow down any imperfections in technique that need to addressed. I've always hated coaches and teachers that can't physically demonstrate the move or technique themselves.
My method involves a 5 step plan: Assessment, Development of Personal Education Plan, Explanation of Personal Education Plan, Model, and Guided Practice. I'm a strong believer in the role of motivation in success and will keep my students engaged and motivated through lessons and followups.
My method is based on the book spanish for foreigners, in which we start from a general approching to the subject, and then go deep into the grammar, use and pronunciation. Every week a list of vocabulary and verbs is given to the student.
I have worked with teams of Problem Based Learning (PBL) educators in the Faculty to ensure that students receive proper and quality education in the college. We (I, along with my colleagues) at the Faculty of Dentistry of UBC have worked to develop new evaluation strategies.
It's not about how fast you learn but it is how much you've learned; the passion of learning will lead you to success
I focus on developing and helping with concept. Because when you understand the concept, you really don't have to learn or memorize anything.
I love to convert theoretical knowledge into interesting practical methodology. My teaching leaves a mark in the children's mind, thus helping him or her remember the lessons easily.
I’ll teach everything and help you learn every word in hindi.
I base my classes on personal struggle with language skills, my methods are flexible.
My teaching methods are pretty simple and easy.
I was a NCAA student-athlete at Simon Fraser University. I completed a degree in Health Sciences and Kinesiology with distinction. Currently, I am completing Medical Radiography at BCIT. I have been a peer-tutor to my classmates and I will do my best to tailor my teaching methods to suit the individual's needs. I have flexible availability.
If the student has music they wish to work on I prefer to work on that. Otherwise, I will teach them classical, jazz, and pop songs. I will teach them theory and scale and chord patterns alongside the songs to give context for their use.
I hold extensive knowledge in classroom management and various teaching methods, so I am able to reach learners of all backgrounds. I enjoy helping teenagers to reach their academic goals and gain an understanding of mathematical concepts. My lesson plans employ fun and creativity along with the concepts that are to be taught.
First and foremost, no pop quizzes. My methodology on teaching consists of a short lecture pertaining to a basic introduction to a section then leading to a couple of questions about the lecture. From personal experience, a great strategy is to improve by trial and error.
My teaching methods are suited to my students' individual style of learning. I use my 7 years of counselling background to discover what style of learning is most suitable for my students; it can vary: from flexinle to very structured.
i based my classes on pratical works and a lot of examples dealing with different approaches.
I provide one-to-one classes into different topics that comply with BC high school curriculum, with major focus on practice rather than pure theory. Basic information are already provided at school, therefore, instead of repeating what the student already know, I'd rather focus on demonstrating how to apply what he/she already acquired as knowledge through extensive exercises.
I can help with meal plans, aps to track food and exercise, food choices, nutrition labels, natural foods and ways to help you shed the fat. I am a meat eater and am currently exploring being vegetarian and vegan and have learned lots about plant based diets and how simple and CHEAP it can be! I am offering help online or by phone. We can also meet periodically at a local coffee shop if needed.
My techniques and methods are individual to the learner. As an Education Assistant I know that every student has a different input and output for learning and I naturally cater to those needs. I can offer ESL lessons (spoken and written) to people of all ages. I can also put together homework sheets for extra practice and am open to hearing what the needs of each person is.
My teaching methods are under a cooperative learning environment, this provide to the students a comfortable and confident learning zone where they can expose all their doubts. Each student has an important role inside the class, in case of a group session I like to have a small audience, having no more than 5 people in each class, in that way I can teach in a more personal form.
I approach Biology in a very interesting way as it is around us. I try and build the concept in mind and make the basics strong so that children can excel in the field of Science. Keeping the pupils involved in the subject, they tend to perform it more, rather than just learning.
I am giving you the things I've learned and you want to know about but don't take me for granted. I'll do my job and do yours.
I like to treat the children as if they were my own, I don’t like to be extremely strict nor am I very flexible.
A major issue here is defining and measuring students attention and interest while teaching! It is likely to be a 'gut feeling' and very competent colleagues can offer a huge number of techniques/tricks which may or may not work.
I base my teaching methods on engaging direction to encourage the students to interact and troubleshoot the answers. Placing real life scenes as examples allows students to find methods of relating to the subject and allowing room for growth in knowledge. Being flexible keeps the problems interesting.
