About MARIA

My name is Maria and I’m an experienced, qualified, native Spanish and Italian teacher. I attained my BA Degree in "Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures” and my Master's Degree in "Translation for special purposes" at "L'ORIENTALE" University of Naples, one of the most prestigious European University for foreign languages.

Starting during my undergrad years as private tutor, I have been teaching Spanish and Italian for 8 years and living in Italy, Spain and England during these years I tutored in all 3 countries. I can prepare students for their GCSEs, A levels, University exams, revision and DELE exams.

I am very enthusiastic, passionate and creative person so I always find ways to make my tutoring sessions as productive as possible, tailored to the student's personality and needs. I also include some fun activities like videos, games, songs, according to your interests and level. I like also offering tailor-made creative programmes, according to your personal needs and curiosities (e.g. fashion, weddings, italian or spanish cooking, history, tourism, culture, etc).

Perfect! Superb Teacher!
Before I had Maria I was struggling in Spanish as I found the language difficult to learn due to all the tenses. However, this all fortunately changed as Maria was an excellent teacher. She always came on time, well prepared and brought the necessary work I needed to do and most importantly was patient and took the time to allow me to genuinely learn the language I once previously thought it was impossible to learn. I couldn't recommend a better teacher.
Subject : Spanish
Outcome : I'm much more confident in Spanish
