Have you ever wondered why English idioms and expressions feel so difficult to master despite how much time you spend studying them? I found my calling in this field because I am bilingual and truly enjoy helping newcomers navigate the shifting landscape of a new language. Having earned my BA in ESL from U of T, I apply a academic foundation to my 7 years of experience in the classroom.
I have mentored 414 students through the challenges of mastering conversational fluency and professional writing for the workplace. It is rewarding to watch a student finally grasp the mechanics of a complex email or a technical interview. Connecting with people from diverse backgrounds is the most enjoyable part of my day.
