About Giovanni

I hold a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, with particular academic depth in calculus, linear algebra, probability, mathematical modelling, and multivariate analysis. This background allows me to explain not only how mathematical methods work, but also the ideas and reasoning behind them.

I support students with a wide range of starting points and ambitions, from those rebuilding confidence or addressing gaps in their knowledge to high-achieving students preparing for demanding Further Mathematics and university admissions material. Each student follows a tuition plan shaped around their current level, goals and way of learning.

About the lesson

My aim is to add a further layer of understanding of any topic in the maths curriculum that the student may be struggling with so the student is able to not only apply methods and answer questions but also to understand why they are implementing methods a particular way. This will help them solve the more challenging questions in exams and achieve the highest marks. I do so through the use of practice questions as well as my extensive maths knowledge obtained from my degree to break down complicated topics and explain them as simple sub-parts.
