About Marilyn
Do you ever feel like you are straining to reach those high notes? Achieving a resonant sound requires careful attention to your physical alignment and breath support.
My lessons use the techniques I mastered during my degree to help you sustain notes with ease. We will move through specific exercises that target your head and chest voice transitions.
Practice is vital. I keep the structure logical so intermediate learners can track their own growth over time. Returning learners find that a bit of formal guidance helps them overcome years of ingrained bad habits.

Degrees are helpful but my BM Popular Music from the Université de Montréal is only the starting point for our work. Technical knowledge often gets in the way if you do not know how to apply it to a live performance. I spend 6 years of experience helping intermediate learners and returning players find their true resonance.
Warm-up exercises and vibrato control are essential to my method for maintaining long-term vocal health. Self-taught players often come to me when they need help managing head and chest voice transitions.
We focus on performance confidence so you feel steady when it is time to sing in front of others. I also prepare dedicated students for formal exam requirements with a clear plan. Do you feel ready to refine your technique and build a more consistent sound?
