I think a personalized approach is so much more useful for a person to learn and grow. I believe in a very hands-on way of learning with an emphasis on doing the problems and building our understanding based what we need to get better at. We will go over any recent tests, study for the next ones and work on homework. Middle School and Freshman students are the perfect people for my teaching style!
