About Rachel
Faster progress usually comes from doing less, not more. I start with breathing control and posture before we touch a single note.
My lessons emphasize microphone technique and genre styling, whether you are preparing for musical theater or pop auditions. We focus on diction, articulation, and sight singing to build a comprehensive toolkit. I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes to keep you consistent.
I use my 13 years of experience to help you develop specific belting techniques that remain healthy over time. It is rewarding to watch performance confidence grow in my students. We take the time to refine your unique tone. I am here to help you sing with purpose.

Music found me early. I began as a student of both language and sound before entering the folk scene. After 11 years of gigging in Montreal, I started helping returning learners and grade exam candidates find their resonance.
It is a loud, wonderful life. My background includes a BM Guitar degree, which helps me explain the musicality behind the vocal lines. I enjoy teaching students how to bridge the gap between classical technique and pop styling. Performing is about honesty, and I try to bring that same transparency to our sessions together.
