About Matthew
I am a college student at Durham College for Primary Care Paramedics. I am going into my final year and have done hospital and ride outs rotations taking care of patients on the road. I am also a lifeguard and swim instructor for the City of Pickering. A few years ago, I earned my First Aid and CPR instructor and examiners qualifications from the Lifesaving Society of Ontario and I have been actively using these skills to teach teens and adults first aid and CPR skills, as well as certifying them with the Lifesaving Society.

My methodology includes powerpoint presentations and practical practice on ACTARS (dummies) as well as a small multiple choice test at the end. I give my email out as well for any and all questions related to first aid and cpr! First aid and CPR is so important that I do not rush my teaching. We will go at your pace until you are comfortable in the knowledge that you have gained. As well, you will also receive full accreditation by the Lifesaving Society of Ontario, which will be able to be used for resumes!

Details
For general lessons of First Aid and CPR *WITH NO CERTIFICATION*, the price is $25/hour.
However, for the certification courses,
*Emergency First Aid with CPR-B is $80/per person and will take 6 hours long.
*Standard First Aid with CPR-C is $100/per person and will take from 10-16 hours long and will happen over two days.
Please note:
*I am a fully certified instructor and examiner. The statement "With no certification" just means that you will not receive a card saying you are legally certified in CPR and First Aid.
*If doing a certified course, there is no first free lesson as this is a contract course with set examination standards and fees.
