About Stevy
Having recently completed my A-levels in OCR MEI B Maths, OCR A Chemistry, and EDUQAS (WJEC) Biology, I understand the demands of these subjects and the strategies needed to succeed.
I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can strengthen their understanding, master exam techniques, and approach their exams with confidence. In addition to subject tutoring, I am also happy to assist with the medicine application process, offering guidance on personal statements and conducting mock interviews to help students prepare effectively.
I look forward to helping students reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals!

My lessons involve 1 hour sessions with personalised powerpoints that are tailored to your specification and integrate retrieval and exam questions.
During my time in college, I was actively involved in supporting Year 12 students through biology and chemistry workshops. In these sessions, I helped students deepen their understanding of complex topics and guided them through exam-style questions to improve their problem-solving skills and exam techniques. This experience allowed me to develop my ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and adapt my teaching approach to different learning styles.
Additionally, I have worked as a medicine interview tutor at Aspiring Medics, where I have conducted one-on-one mock interviews with students preparing for medical school admissions. This role has given me extensive experience in coaching students on key interview techniques, including Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) and panel-style questions. I have provided tailored feedback to help students refine their responses, build confidence, and develop the communication skills necessary for success in medical interviews.
Academically, I achieved grade 9s in 10 subjects at GCSE, including Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I also completed an EPQ, earning an A*. In my A-levels, I studied OCR MEI B Maths, OCR A Chemistry, and EDUQAS (WJEC) Biology. My strong academic background and preparation strategies enabled me to receive all four of my medical school offers from the University of Southampton, University of Birmingham, University of Exeter, and Cardiff University.
Through these experiences, I have developed strong teaching and mentoring skills, allowing me to effectively support students at both GCSE and A-level in their academic studies and medical school applications.
