About Greer

I’m a singing tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Music Production with a focus on Vocal Engineering. I specialize in working with singer-songwriters who want to refine their sound and develop original material. Whether you're in school, at the college level, or a working professional, I design personalized lessons to support your artistic journey. My sessions often explore lyric writing, melodic construction, and phrasing that brings emotion to your songs. We also work on basic guitar or piano accompaniment so you can confidently perform your own music. I blend technical training with creative exploration, helping students find their voice both musically and emotionally. I place a strong emphasis on ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory—so you understand not just how to sing, but why it works. Vocal confidence is built over time, and I create a space where you can grow with encouragement and honest feedback. Safe vocal technique is always a priority, and I guide you through exercises that protect your voice while unlocking its potential. Each lesson is interactive, supportive, and focused on your unique goals. I believe every artist has a story to tell, and my job is to help you tell it through song. About the lesson

My teaching approach is built for singers who want to thrive in group settings. I focus on choral singing, vocal blending, and developing the listening skills needed for true ensemble harmony. We work on part-singing, balance, and dynamics—skills that are essential for fitting into a choir or vocal group. I also include sight-reading practice to build confidence when reading new music with others.

Lessons are interactive and supportive, with a strong focus on collaboration. I guide students through exercises that strengthen pitch accuracy, rhythmic awareness, and tone matching. Whether you're singing alto, tenor, or switching parts, you'll learn how to hold your line and listen across the group. We also work on phrasing and breathing as a team, which is key to blending voices smoothly.

I’m especially good with The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist—singers who need to adapt quickly to different styles and group formats. My methods support singers in becoming flexible and reliable ensemble performers. Together, we build the confidence to sing in harmony, both musically and socially.
