Hello, I'm Piumi, a PhD candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at Deakin University with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Chemistry and over three years of experience teaching undergraduate chemistry students.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of fundamental concepts rather than memorization. I adapt each lesson to the student's learning style, using clear explanations, examples, problems and applications that make chemistry easier and more interesting for them.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and can be tailored to individual needs, whether it is exam preparation, assignment support, or strengthening core chemistry knowledge.
I offer chemistry lessons for high school students, including VCE Chemistry, and for anyone seeking to strengthen their understanding of chemistry. My goal is to help students improve their understanding, academic performance, and confidence in chemistry.
