About Ali Asgar
I'm deeply passionate about chemical engineering, with hands-on experience across multiple firms spanning process engineering to polymer engineering. Growing up, I didn't have much help with the concepts I found difficult, so I know firsthand how valuable the right guidance can be, and that's what drives me to teach.
Recently, I've been mentoring a co-op student at my company, and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I don't just teach the concepts required for academics, I connect them to real-world applications from my own experience, so students understand not just what to learn, but why it matters. I also focus heavily on building critical thinking and problem-solving skills, something I believe is often missing in today's university environment but essential for any engineer.
