About Silke
I'm Silke, a psychologist, teacher and former dean. I spent many years working in secondary education in Amsterdam, where I supported students academically, personally and in their career choices. I then specialised in coaching and guidance for adolescents and adults. My focus is on understanding what is really holding someone back and finding ways to get moving again. I work from evidence-based methods that help with managing stress, building resilience and connecting to what truly matters. I live and work from Ibiza and give all my lessons online. I believe every child has their own unique way of learning. My approach is personal, calm and non-judgmental. I take the time to understand what's going on and then we get to work together.

Are you struggling at school? Having trouble planning your homework, or just can't seem to get yourself started? That's frustrating. And you're definitely not alone.
I'm a psychologist, teacher and former dean with years of experience in secondary education. As a psychologist, I understand what's really going on. Fear of failure, motivation problems, stress, or simply the feeling that it's all become too much. It often goes deeper than the subject itself. Together we'll work out what's holding you back and get you back on track.
Personal guidance with a psychological approach. We start with an introductory session where we map out together what's going on. Then, over a number of focused sessions, we work on concrete skills: planning, dealing with anxiety, concentration and motivation. No standard approach, just figuring out together what works best for you.
Career guidance. Not sure what direction to take or what you want after school? Which path suits you, college or university? As a former dean I've guided hundreds of students through exactly these questions. Together we look at your interests, your strengths and your ambitions, and turn that into a direction that truly fits you.
Support for students living abroad. Have you recently moved to a new country and are struggling to find your footing at school? A new education system, a new language, new classmates. That's a lot to deal with all at once. As the mother of an expat child, I know firsthand what it means to grow up between two cultures. I offer personal support to help your child settle in, build confidence and get back on track, wherever in the world you are.
Social Studies tutoring for secondary students. We focus on real understanding, not just memorising for the test. We work on insight, argumentation and writing strong answers so you feel confident going into your exam.
