About Steph

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Packaging Technology from San Jose State University. I worked as a Packaging Engineer for 6 years before returning to grad school. I am currently perusing a Master's of Education along with a multiple subject teaching credential with bilingual authorization (Spanish). I love to teach and have been tutoring in some capacity for 10 years.

About the lesson

I believe in social emotional learning. Maslow's hierarchy of needs states that we must first have our physical, security, and social needs met before we can attend to our curiosities. I facilitate a safe learning space by fostering a respectful and fun learning environment so that my student's minds are free of worry, and therefore free to question, ponder, and grow.
