About Zakariah

I’m a GCSE student, who wants to study History at university, and is a huge enthusiast in the subject. I’ve been studying it in depth (reading historical non-fiction and university-level textbooks), since I was 12 years old, around three years ago. I’ve been tutoring my classmates in History over the past few years, and decided to join this site so I can begin to build up a reputation and help people.

About the lesson

The lessons are for students at or below GCSE level regarding History, Geography, Classical Civilisations, Ancient History, Religious Education, or Philosophy. The lesson structure varies depending on the age and ability of the student, but will typically consist of a two-way discussion about the subject matter, followed by an exam-style question about the underlying topic of the lesson. I’ve tutored people in multiple different subjects, but mostly specialise in history. All tutoring until now has been informal, but it has all yielded positive results, with students moving up 4-5 grades after a few months.
