About Rachel
ABOUT ME
I am a first-year student studying Commerce at the University of Toronto (St. George). I attended an academically reputable secondary school in Toronto. I have been recognized for success in various extracurriculars - especially DECA! I am thoroughly involved in my community in countless leadership positions and take pride in making positive impacts in my teams.
MY EXPERIENCE
I have been tutoring English for 4 years with 4 long-term students and French for 3 years with 2 long-term students. My students consistently achieve 95+ marks and have seen grade improvements of 5% to 15%. More importantly, their employ of language has become much more eloquent and confident.

I emphasize understanding of a concept over empty memorization that is forgotten after an assessment! My priority is long-term student success!!
I find that most students struggle with speaking (both pronunciation and organic conversation) as this is often neglected in schools with large class sizes. I also help students with grammar as verb conjugation proves to be quite challenging!
