About Mira

I am an ESL tutor with 7 years of experience teaching high school and college students. During this time, I have taught 150–200 students, helping them improve their English skills and gain confidence in communication. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and practical learning. I design lessons that focus on speaking, reading, writing, and listening in a way that connects to real-life situations.

I believe that students learn best when they feel encouraged and engaged, so I include interactive activities, discussions, and exercises that make learning enjoyable. Many of my students have improved their exam results, fluency, and classroom participation. I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practising English without fear of mistakes.

My goal is not just to teach English, but to help students become confident and independent learners. I continually update my teaching methods to provide effective and modern learning experiences.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching approach is built on creativity, accountability, and mentorship. I encourage students to learn by doing, using activities like discussions, story creation, and interactive exercises. This helps them think critically and communicate naturally in English.

As a mentor, I focus on personalised guidance, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their learning goals. I believe in accountability, ensuring students take an active role in their progress and celebrate milestones along the way.

Critical thinking is a key part of my lessons. I encourage students to question, analyse, and express ideas, which improves both language proficiency and problem-solving skills.

In addition to ESL, I teach related subjects like grammar, writing, and reading comprehension, providing a well-rounded learning experience. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to build confidence, preparing students for academic, professional, and real-life communication.

My aim is to create a friendly and motivating environment where students enjoy learning, feel confident to make mistakes, and develop a lifelong passion for English.
