About Anna
I am an Alevel student and The Maynard school in exeter studying Maths, further maths, chemistry and Drama. My aim is to go on to studing either eductaion, human sciences or global sustanable development at university. I have experianced many challanges in education, growing up being dyselxic ad finding primary school increadably tough, and then having to move down a year in senior school due to missing half my GCSE year being in hospital. Throught my challanges at school, i have always loved it! And i would like to be able to pass my experiance and knolowledge onto anyone who may be stuggling, to enable them to fluorish as i learnt. I am a mentor to the younger students, am part of the wellbeing commitee and school council. I have had work experiance in both Woodbury CofE primary school in reception class, and the Northcott theatre. I am also a long standing volunteer at stalcombe Residental home for disabled adults. I can bring fun and excitment, as well as a refreshoing break from homeschool as i try to break the mould for online learning!

My teaching method is to first become more than just a talking face on a screen. I want to be able to get to know my pupil in a more friendly and open way. I want to be able to be here for you, and to adapt to your current needs and emotions. Withe arly years education i would be sure to plan with you what areas need addressing whist using fun and interactive methods to encourage and aspire learning. I learnt my times tables through a mixture of drawings, funny ryhmes and actions, so i know how some methods of learning suit people better than others! With school support i would be flexavle to adust my lessons to what the individual needs and lessons could range from a personal, informal chat about school in general to practical lessons which would help with a range of areas including, friendships, lessons, choices - GCSEs and secondary schools etc, exams and stress. I will be a force of support in anyway you feel is needed!
