About Alice
My name is Alice and I love geography and politics! As a fellow student like yourselves, I know school can be very stressful and daunting, and so I'm here to make it all a bit easier. I love to travel to feed my love of world cultures, and have been to places like Borneo, Morocco, Iceland, Malaysia and Finland. I also love to get involved in politics and debating, and have won awards in debating competitions and am an avid member of my University's debating society. If you want a chat about news headlines and global politics, I'll be more than happy to join you! I am very approachable, laid back and friendly. I am also considering a career in teaching when I graduate and have a passion for education, having also spent 6 months assisting teaching geography in my secondary school. I can't wait to meet you all!

My lessons involve a friendly, open minded approach to tutoring with no judgment and no question too silly. I'm happy to talk through exam questions, mark practise questions, clarify specific knowledge areas and or just have a general chat on themes and key concepts. Lessons can range from a quick 30 minute chat, up to an hour (if we feel that you need more than an hour, this can also of course be negotiated). It's your learning I care about, so whatever will work best to help you, I'm happy to do! Before starting university I spent 6 months assisting in geography lessons in my secondary school and so have experience teaching young people and the subject specifically. I received an 8 in GCSE geography, a B in A-level geography and a B in A-level politics, and so am happy to tutor anyone up to A-level standard.
