About Pauline

Holding an Artist Diploma in Music Performance from the Eastman School of Music, I want to guide you through the complexities of the violin. You will find that music has been the center of my life since I was a child.

I have taught 135 students over the course of 3 years of experience. We focus on sight reading, posture and hold, classical repertoire, and grade exam prep. Music theory, spiccato and staccato bowing, tone production, and ear training are all part of our sessions together. I am ready to work with you.

Customizing the path remains vital for success. Every student receives a monthly progress report shared with parents to track development. Drawing from my 3 years of experience and academic background, I construct sessions that blend discipline with musical joy. We prioritize the nuances of spiccato and staccato bowing alongside essential tone production methods.

The instruction covers complex sight reading and comprehensive music theory to ensure a complete understanding of your pieces. ABRSM and Trinity grade exam prep provides the structure needed to hit your targets. Maintaining proper posture and hold serves as the foundation for your long-term comfort and agility.
