About Lara

I am a kind and inspiring teacher who love's to help students achieve the grades that they want. Studying is not easy and it can feel like it requires a huge amount of effort, but with a tutor to guide you, you will quickly see it is not as scary as it seems. I will focus on going over topics you are struggling with and then plan with you how to move forward with your academic revision inside and outside if lessons to give you the best chance in your exams.

About the lesson

I am a friendly and passionate teacher that guide students through topics while still making sure they are actively engaging by asking them questions throughout. I am easily able to pick up on gaps in knowledge and have effective strategies to build sound academic foundations, as well as expand from that into complex topics that will ensure the best grades. My perfect academic record including 2A*s in Mathematics and Further Mathematics has been achieved through hard work and effective study which are skills I am passionate about and equip all my students with. I have lots of experience teaching students complex and simple topics alike, as well as lots of experience explaining my study strategies and personalising the methods for each student. I can teach all levels of school, including KS3, GCSE and A-levels. Most lesson lengths will be an hour, but this can be extended if requested.
