About Assanali
I was born in a small town in Kazakhstan, and studying abroad felt like an unbelievable dream; until I met someone who actually achieved it. He taught me that hard work, taking exams, and competing in Olympiads would open doors for my future.
I am not a genius, and the complex concepts in textbooks and Olympiad problems used to be very intimidating to me. Because of that, I had to find a way to understand them: by breaking them into simple words, using examples, and creating illustrations. I realized that just reading books and memorizing formulas is never enough to truly grasp chemistry.
Because of my own journey, I don't just teach my students how to memorize and solve. I teach them how to imagine chemical processes in their minds, visualize the steps, and build a solution. Together, we will make solving problems feel as natural as a painter bringing an image to life on a canvas.

I know exactly that mastering chemistry requires more than just reading and memorizing; it takes visualization and breaking down complex problems into steps. As an International Olympiad medalist and engineering major, my greatest strength as a tutor is taking deep knowledge of the subject and making it simpler and relatable. I don't rely on heavy jargon; instead, we will spend our lessons translating tough concepts into life examples, and then working through practice problems, and slowly building your confidence.
My typical lesson starts with a quick review of rules, and the step-by-step problem-solving to ensure you truly understand the mechanics and logic behind the chemistry. These lessons are for everyone. From middle school beginners and high schoolers facing any sort of exams, to university students needing extra support.
It's my 4th year tutoring and teaching. I taught Olympiad chemistry, AP and IB Chemistry, and give assistance to 30+ students. So, join my trial lesson and start visualizing chemistry!
