About Kathleen
Singing is really just controlled breathing and intentional resonance. I like to start by looking at your current range and then we build from there.
We will practice belting technique and pitch control together. It helps to have someone listen for harmony and articulation. My experience in the Montreal music scene informs how I teach microphone technique to intermediate learners.
I am here to guide your progress. See you in the studio.

You deserve to feel confident every time you open your mouth to sing. My path as a self-taught musician and 13 years in the chanson circuit taught me how to handle my own voice. I teach adults and teens how to master breathing control and diction.
We will focus on vocal health and care to protect your instrument. My methods include head and chest voice training plus genre styling for pop or theatre. I provide a personalised song list built around each student's range to ensure your growth. I look forward to hearing you find your unique sound.
