About Sulekh

Highly professional instructor who explains the fundamentals with a relaxed approach that's structured as well as fun. This is tuition that is tailored to the aims of the student as well as covering the most important aspects of the instruments.

About Sulekh
I am a classical Indian musician specialising in Vocal, Harmonium and Tabla and I have over 25 years' teaching experience from Absolute Beginner to Professional Level. I take students from age 10 onwards and no prior experience is required. The lessons are structured, tailored to the student as well as fun and inspiring.

My music contributions are as follows

Lead Singer, Kirtan Band

My knowledge in the area of Indian vocal music includes:
Semi-Classical Ragas
Bollywood
Ghazal
Bhajan
Sufi
Kirtan / Mantra

My Tabla teaching involves
Learning classical solo pieces such as as Kaida, Tukra, Gat, Rela etc Learning Rhythms (Taal) for accompaniment such as Taal Keherva (8 beats), Taal Dadra (6 beats), Tin Taal (16 beats) etc

You'll also be explained how to accompany all types of Indian vocal music and instrumental as well as Pop, Jazz and World Music
