About Onize
My name is Onize, a 19 year old medical student. I have been interested in learning my whole life, part of the reason why I chose to pursue medicine. I love biology, chemistry and being curious about the world. I am interested in tutoring as I hold a belief that every child has potential that they can reach at any stage of their school journey. It is important to me that my students feel comfortable in discussing how their academic goals are being achieved - but also in discussing how their overall experience with learning is. I pride myself on being a friendly, but effective tutor.

I aim to provide tailored lessons to my students, to help them gain confidence to pursue challenges. I aspire to encourage them to reach both their personal and academic goals by enabling my students to feel comfortable enough to voice concerns or worries. I feel as though a comfortable student and a good relationship can help to boost the student's academic grades through understanding and an attraction to lifelong learning. Typically my lessons are 2 hours long, and I have 3 years of experience working with children ages 8-17. I am currently in medical school, and through tutoring I aim to instil an improved work ethic and a curiosity that my students can carry long term!
