About Annelie
I have always been fascinated by the human body and mind, the inter-connectivity of humans, life and the environment and how everything impacts each other; it has been part of my personal (and professional) research for many years. Studying a variety of subjects ranging from business management, psychology, sports science, Quantum Physics, Yoga and Leadership programmes, I have a good understanding of many subjects from various perspectives. I like to teach through practical experience or examples that leave the mind of the student open to explore and come to their own understanding of the subject matter, instead of just parroting what the book says. I like to stimulate a curious attitude towards learning rather than just getting the information across. My understanding of family dynamics also allows for parents to get involved in the process if this is required, empowering them to understand or support their child in the way necessary for mutual growth. I have endless patience and a good sense of humour, yet extremely responsible and clear in what is needed. I will always teach more than just the subject at hand, as all things are related to how we live our lives and the perceptions we choose to adapt. My aim is to create a sense of balance, well-being and self-acceptance, no matter who I work with.
