About Ankush
I absolutely love the language. Although I actually have a degree in Science, my love for Japanese (and other languages) stumps anything else (I'm also a tad bit obsessed with Japan and its history). I've spent over 3 years passively immersed in the language - I know a lot of its natural nuances that usual learners wouldn't, and one of my hobbies is to discover more and more of them. I wish to impart the same passion for learning the language because once that's in, learning the language becomes an instinct more than a chore. Good luck with your language-learning!

First, I have to know how much you know. If you're just a beginner with no experience with Japanese, that's no problem at all! Japanese uses three scripts: Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Kanji's the one to look out for. So, I'd start with some Hiragana and Katakana - you wouldn't need to memorise them, just get a feel for them. Strictly NO written English, though! I'd rather you make mistakes than use English (after I lay some groundwork for you). Using traditional textbooks is a bad idea, so my lessons would include real-life Japanese videos or Anime excerpts. Typically, each session would be for 25 mins-50 mins, depending on what you'd prefer. My lessons would be appropriate for anyone over the age of 16.
