About Anastasia
Hi everyone, I'm Anastasia, an austrian girl living in Barcelona :)
While growing up in Vienna, Austria I attended the American International School for 8 years after which I moved to England at the age of 13 to attend a boarding school for 5 years.
In Year 11 I studied the GCSE programme, taking Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, History, and German A level and successfully obtained my GCSE diploma.
I am an ambitious student going into my third and penultimate year of the Bachelor of Business Administration.
I am an open, caring and patient teacher and I only want the best for my students. I am motivated to help all students struggling in certain areas of Maths and guide and help them on their way to excellence.

Having done GCSE Maths, IB Maths and Statistics at University I have a very good grasp of Mathematics.
I teach primary school students (7-11 years), secondary education students (12-13 years) and GCSE students (14-16 years).
I think that a holistic approach to teaching is the most beneficial for my students; I ask them what their needs are in their area of difficulty (specific topics they don't understand) and what it is they don't understand in the topic specifically.
Next, I will give some explanations of concepts and once this has been understood by my students I will then ask them to solve exercises and see where they have difficulties. I will then address these difficulties and try to break down the exercises into smaller bits so the student can follow my approach to solving a problem.
I have volunteered as an english teacher last August in Nepal and I have patience and empathy with students.
