About OLI

Hi my name is Oli. I am a 17 year old who is passionate about teaching others how to play the piano. I love teaching piano to others because I adore the joy that comes on client's faces once they learn and start to enjoy the piano. I am a very bubbly and open person who can joke around and have fun while teaching at the same time. I earned a grade 6 piano certificate when I was 13 and have been learning experienced pieces by myself for the past 5 years with the knowledge I have gained. I love assisting others with learning the piano. Some examples of this include my brother, sister, and best friend. I love writing my own music and am more than happy to give advice about anything you wish to learn/compose

About the lesson

Lessons with me would be thrilling, as I have an energetic and strong passion for music. There is a vast flexibility in the choice of songs that wish to be learned. I am willing to work with all ages and levels of expertise. Lessons would start with common piano theory knowledge and practicing different scales (10 minutes). It would then progress to learning the piece(s) that you wish to learn (45 minutes). Lessons would conclude with games, such as pop quizzes and questions regarding music (5 minutes). I am very excited for the opportunity to work with you, and remember, mistakes are what make you learn! Lessons would go between 30 and 60 minutes. I have completed up to grade 6 piano and am currently composing my own songs. Very open to the genre of music you wish to learn. I am very happy to assist in the writing of your own songs.

Perfect! Oli is an awesome teacher. He is always extremely kind and patient during the lesson, while also being very talented and gifted in music. Details

Lessons in your own house are $40/hr. Online lessons are $30. The cost of travel is $2 for every kilometer away. For example, if I travel to your house and it is 6 km away, the extra cost for travel is $12. Every new client gets a free 30-minute lesson, which gives time for you to decide if I am the right tutor for you.
