About Eleanor
I thoroughly enjoy seeing the development of children throughout their primary school years and love being a part in children’s learning journey. My experience in a range of different primary schools across Wandsworth, as a class teacher has enabled me to build on my development in teaching Reception and Year 1 and Year 3. I love seeing progression in my students and have always strived for an active and engaging environment where children are motivated and develop a love for learning.
My secure knowledge of the National Curriculum enables me to know what the children should understand and build on, where children should be at each stage of the year and how learning should be sequential and progressional. I am confident working with a range of different curriculum schemes such as Little-Wandle letters and sounds / Sounds write phonics, the write-stuff and White Rose maths alongside NCETM.

I endeavour to create a supportive, and engaging learning environment where my students develop confidence and motivation. Every child is unique and I tailor lessons to meet every child's individual needs. I have experience and capability in enhancing reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar and vocabulary. My students excelled national average of their phonics screener score achieving 97% pass rate.
I make sure to build strong foundations in arithmetic, problem solving and geometry. I am efficient in exposing children to test paper questions; providing the skill to answer these effectively and confidently.
