About Katrina

I love Psychology and want to pass my enthusiasm for the subject on to others.
I retired from teaching this year and I am missing helping students to achieve their potential and have therefore decided to tutor. I have a wealth of experience of helping students who might be struggling and of helping students achieve good grades. I also have experience of coaching students applying to top universities in interview technique. I have used a variety of pedagogical techniques and will tailor my tutor sessions to your needs.

About the lesson

I will prepare sessions that meet your needs and make them as interesting and interactive as possible whilst still ensuring that you are being helped on the pathway to success.
I can help with A level and GCSE Psychology (AQA spec) but could also help WJEC criminology students prepare for their unit 2 and 4 exams. I would offer 1 hour sessions and am happy to do individual and/or group sessions
I have 23 years experience of teaching A Level Psychology and of running UCAS at my school so can also help with application details. I have also taught at University and have a PhD- so a strong understanding of research and research methods
