Teaching is my absolute passion! Currently, I teach year 3 in an outstanding primary school in North London. My expertise includes primary teaching of all year groups from reception - year 6. I have been involved in testing for exams such as SATS and therefore have the accessibility and knowledge to tutor for children coming up to these exams.
I have a son of my own so I have the nurture experience too. In addition to this, I have taught for special educational needs in secondary school and also have a lot of experience of additional needs and how to support children with these needs.
This includes experience of children with Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and more.
Other personal qualities include having a fun approach to learning and providing exciting and memorable lessons. I use a lot of ICT within my daily teaching and believe that using computing can be engaging for children.
I know how to tailor lessons to suit different needs and am able to adapt my teaching to whichever way your child learns best. I have a firm but fair approach when it comes to teaching as I believe that once children have learnt the boundaries of which are needed for a learning environment,they are then able to learn more effectively.
