About Hazeljoy
Learning piano should be enjoyable, supportive, and confidence-building. My lessons are flexible, adjusting to different types of learning styles. I know some piano lessons may be intimidating, but I like my lessons fun and comfortable! I have been through casual training and changed to professional training. I have several performances, so I know what it's like to start from scratch and be nervous to go on stage! So I am here to help you build your confidence! My strengths are in songs and classical repertoire. While I have some familiarity with jazz, it isn’t my primary area of expertise.

My lessons are supportive, friendly and structured. I focus on building strong foundations for beginners (posture, technique, rhythm, reading) while having fun with freely chosen songs. I adapt my pace and methods to suit students' learning style and needs. Lessons will range from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the student's wants. Each lesson includes small chats, warm-ups, practices, and simple music theories. I have completed Trinity College London Grade 6 Piano and have experience in tutoring children privately, including students with multiple disabilities! I am patient, encouraging, and understand how beginners learn as I started the same way myself! Teach beginners and intermediate students, age ranging from 4 to adults. Lessons suitable for first-time learners or those looking to improve confidence and technique. Age doesn't matter! Start whenever you feel like it.
