About Katerine

I have been giving lessons about 3 years ago. I started with a few lessons teaching kids and adults then I found that people were enjoying my classes and they achieved their goals. I have experience teaching kids, students for their exams, adults with basic, intermediate and advanced levels.

I will check your level first asking you some questions where I can design a plan just for you. Focusing on conversation but using grammar, vocabulary, conjugation, audios, videos and different tools for you to practice, increase your confidence and improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

About the lesson

Hola. My name is Katerine. I am 34 years old. I am from Colombia, located in South America. Spanish is my native language. I moved to Glasgow 12 years ago. I love teaching and I have the skills to show you or your kids the easy way to learn Spanish.

I decided to teach because I heard a lot of people telling me they would love to learn this beautiful language but they don't know how to start. I have experience teaching kids in America from different ages and also adults from different levels in the UK. My classes will be fun and I will show you how to be able to talk to others and keep a nice conversation.

You will learn a standard Spanish. Colombian accent is easy to understand. Is the second best Spanish. I will show you the grammar but I will focus on talking and listening. How to use the main words to communicate.

You are not only learning a new language. You are also learning a new culture. I will talk about food, places, music etc. So you will be able to talk with more confidence.

You will find learning Spanish the most friendly and fun language. I will make sure you get to the level that you want to achieve. I understand sometimes learning something new can be difficult, but if you enjoy and have fun it will be so easy to learn it.

My methodology is by using different verbs to let you build your own sentences in the right tense. you will talk about your daily routine and your plans for the future so you can talk more and increase your vocabulary with the right conjugation. Also, practical exercises with real situations where you can lift your confidence while you are learning.

I hope you can give me the opportunity to teach you Español the easiest and friendly way. Nos vemos pronto.
