About Shari
Students with solid foundations in math and communication are well-positioned for academic success. By taking things further, with an enrichment program, the enthusiasm, drive and excitement can be carefully nurtured.
The goal is to look back at how these lessons contribute to a new level of confidence and increased interest in the challenge of dissecting math problems.
Equally important though, is the ability to carefully explain one's thinking and break it down into meaningful components. All students should in a sense, be presenters of their work, and strive toward being able to help others in understanding key concepts. This duality is the difference!

The mission is to improve elementary and high school math skills by not simply jumping to the answer to a problem, but to engage in dialogue to explain reasoning, alternative approaches, sanity checking etc.
Having strong math credentials and experience in mentoring and volunteering, means taking lessons far beyond 'homework help'. What matters is building comfort in problem solving and confidence in sharing solutions.
Lessons are tailored to the students math level and aptitude. The thoughtful practice of a good variety of math problems with increasing challenge is conducted. Steps are reviewed in engaging dialogue. Strategies for optimal performance on tests or competitions are reviewed.
It's about passion. Those with it, can inspire the next generation with positivity and success in the realm of mathematics and clear, confident communication. Let's go!!!
