About Ubah

Hi, I’m Ubah. I’m from Canada and I hold a TEFL certification. My background is in research, analysis, and writing, so I’m used to working carefully with language and explaining ideas clearly.

I bring a calm, organized, and flexible approach. I want students to feel respected, able to ask questions, and comfortable making mistakes while they learn.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around what you want to improve. A typical session may include conversation practice, pronunciation correction, grammar or vocabulary review, reading, writing, or interview preparation.

I like to use practical examples, short exercises, and clear feedback so students can understand their mistakes and apply what they learn outside the lesson.

These lessons are suitable for beginner to intermediate learners, students, newcomers, professionals, and anyone looking for structured English practice.

Ubah is one of those rare people who combines exceptional intelligence with genuine warmth. As a colleague, I’ve always admired her incredible analytical mind and love of data, but also her ability to make everyone around her feel comfortable and valued. She has a calming presence, a fantastic sense of humour, and a natural talent for explaining ideas in a way that is both clear and engaging.

What I appreciate most about Ubah is her empathy and patience. She listens carefully, meets people where they are, and creates an environment where learning feels approachable and enjoyable. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any student looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly dedicated to helping others build confidence and succeed.
