About Paul

I am a dedicated educator and healthcare professional with a multifaceted background in Physics and Clinical Nursing. My academic journey began at DePaul University, where I developed a rigorous foundation in the physical sciences and mathematics. This analytical training, combined with my current clinical experience in nursing and my work as a licensed agent, allows me to approach tutoring with a unique blend of precision and empathy.

Beyond the classroom, I have served in various leadership roles, including as a Team Leader for the DePaul ROTC, which instilled in me the discipline and communication skills necessary to mentor students effectively. My goal is to foster a professional and high-performance environment where students feel empowered to master difficult subjects. I don't just teach for the exam; I teach to build a foundation of logic and critical thinking that will serve you throughout your academic and professional career.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is built on one core principle: if you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough. With a background in Physics and extensive experience in the clinical healthcare field, I specialize in taking complex, intimidating concepts in Math and Science and breaking them down into manageable, logical steps.

Concept Deep-Dive: Interactive lecture focusing on the "why" behind the topic.
Guided Practice: Solving problems together to build confidence.
The Summary: We finish by having you explain the concept back to me to ensure total mastery.
